One hour. One cleaner shoreline.
Join neighbors, families, students and first time volunteers for a laid back beach cleanup that makes a visible difference. No experience needed. We provide all of the supplies needed.

Come solo, bring your friends, family, coworkers or the whole crew. We’ve got everything you need to jump in and help safely. Just show up, grab your gear and let’s get to work keeping our beaches clean!
Meet the crew
Arrive a little early for parking and the walk to the boardwalk ramp. A lead organizer will greet you and get you set up.
Events last for one hour
We provide bags, gloves, garbage pickers, hand and hand sanitizer. All you have to do is show up.

Who can volunteer?
Everyone is welcome. Individuals, families, students, sports teams, scouts, organizations and groups.
When and where do cleanups happen?
We always meet somewhere on the boardwalk. Once signed up, we send out a weekly email with the details, time and location of our upcoming beach cleanup.
How long does cleanup last?
Events last for a little over an hour. Allow yourself extra time to park and walk to the meeting spot.
Can students earn community service hours?
Yes. Bring any paperwork that needs a signature and find a lead organizer at checkin.
What shouldn't I pick up?
Leave sharp or hazardous items for a lead organizer. Stay out of the dunes and off the jetty rocks.
Can I bring a group?
Yes. Families, schools, scout troops, sports teams and organizations are welcome. Contact us if you're bringing a larger group.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and footwear suitable for sand and the day's conditions. We also have volunteer shirts, sweatshirts and beanies available.
